Maybe for a fellowship- you'd have to ask UT that one- but no-one on the interview trail for a regular group-practice job is gonna ask you your board scores...well never say never...if you're coming out of an accredited residency, you're a well adjusted dude/dudette in good standing with your staff, and you go to an interview and Dr. Gern Blanston, Senior Partner, asks you for your board scores (beyond "Did you pass?), just walk out and go to your next interview where the dude will hopefully focus on more important issues like, "Are you easy to get along with? Is there anything in anesthesia you are uncomfortable with, and if so, are you willing to learn? Do you believe in being pro-active? Are you a team player?"
I'm hiring right now. I don't care what your board scores are....just that you become BC.
You need to be

3) team player....we have to like you
