When everything is verified and you can schedule a date, what is the earliest date that you can get? Is it possible to get a date the same week or does it generally take months?

Depends on your particular test center: you may be able to take the test the same week if they are not busy. Generally, the eligibility period is 3 months and you should have no problems obtaining a test date within this period.
