step 3 question

I've been reading different posts regarding step 3 recommended materials.My question is any one used Kaplan step 3 lecture notes + audio.And some recommend to go over CK notes before taking step 3.How much of a difference it makes to read CK again and step 3 only? Kaplan step 3 has the same clinical plus management. Any comments?
