Step 3 requirement

Are there any programs that require (either explicitly or implicitly) Step 3 scores in order to consider your application? I haven't seen any that list this as a requirement on their websites, but those who have gone through the process may know of places that may expect them anyway. I might not take Step 3 until December and wouldn't want it to hold anything up.

I've been doing this for nearly ten years and I'm not aware of a program that requires step III in order to apply. If your first two exam scores are good (at the very least above 80), don't worry about the third right now. We look at the scores as a jumping off point, but research holds more weight.
