Step 3 Retransmission. HELP!

I am in need of serious advice!

I am an IMG applicant to Psychiatry, and I have to say this cycle has been rather brutal (no interviews). My Step I is upper 230s, Step II is upper 220s and I just got my Step III scores upper 190s - huge drop. I am faced with the following questions.

1) Do Step III scores matter for IMGs or is a "pass" enough?
2) Retransmit my application NOW and hope for interviews in the next 14 days with the hope that Step III PASS is a plus.
3) Wait for SOAP at which point Step III scores are included in my USMLE transcript anyway? (I don't even know if this is true, the ERAS wording is so vague)....
4) Hope that Step III scores do NOT get updated to ERAS and partake in SOAP with Step I and II

ANY advice would be appreciated.

1. Everything matters to some extent. That said, Step 3 is pretty low on the list. Step 3 is only critical if you're applying for an H visa.

2. It is not likely that you will be getting any interviews in the next 14 days, regardless of your Step 3 score. Although I can't be 100% certain, I expect that all programs have (essentially) filled all of their interview slots for the year. It is possible that programs will fill cancellations. Psych isn't terribly competitive and your scores (except Step 3) are good, so there is likely something else in your application causing the problem, or you only applied to very competitive programs.

3. Your new scores will absolutely be included in SOAP for any new programs.

with this step I and II scores you should have got interviews if your application was complete and you had usce...😕

Agree with aPD. Your app as you describe it only has 1 red flag (IMG). Either you vastly overestimated your competitiveness or you've got a few other red flags on your app (YOG, multiple course failures, lack of USCE, poor English skills - kind of a big deal in psych, etc.).

Step 3 is the least of your problems.
