Hey guys, IMG here applying this year! I wanted some advice on step 3.
Scores:
Step 1- 213
CS- Passed first attempt
CK- waiting on result
I hope to match into Psych.
I can’t possibly do Step 3 in time for match. However, I was wondering if having a result by mid November would help? Would programs be updated? Would it get me more interviews even if it's that late in the game?

Not necessarily true. According to charting outcomes the average step 1 for USIMGs that matched into psych was like 214 last year. That being said the match rate overall for USIMGs is low so having a backup like FM is a good idea.

Why not? It's not about step score... Path has a difficult time recruiting applicants now
