I studied Harrison's cover to cover and got a 264/99. It was a lot of work but, you know, I only studied about 2 hours a day for like a week. I mean, come on, if you arent scoring that high on this exam, well, you are an inferior being. Good luck and if anyone wants to ask me any questions about my score and stroke my ego, feel free! 😉

that's interesting, my preceptor said he did the same thing ("read Harrison's"). he says that, surprisingly, you remember much more than you would think... wonder if it's worth the investment. 3 weeks and counting until the dreaded day is here, yowsers!

Kluver, do you think that the Penthouse online subscription (which has supplemental articles, Q&As, and interactive diagrams) is worth the money, or should I just stick with PreTest?

Is there a correlation with my penthouse viewing image viewing time and how I will do on Step 4?

Is Penthouse enough or should I look at Playboy or Hustler as well?

Stick to First Aid for Step 4. Hustler is way too detailed and way too hardcore for me.

you know what really really pisses me...after they added the clinical assesment...then they gave us this exam! What really enfuriates me about the step 4 exam, is not the obscure minutia and clinical details that they test, but the FREAKIN $1,545 registration fee for the exam!!!!

WTF, where am I supposed to get that kind of money?!!? 😡 More importantly, how the phuck, do they come up, with 1500 and 45 dollars?! they should have added...1545.99 cents 🙄

I'm tired of getting swindled and taking more exams! ARGH 😡 damn step 4...apparently, 31% of the people who took it this yearFAILED the damn thing! UGH

and I know some of u like looking at Hustler to vent steam...but some of use a different kind of magazine to vent steam...ehem 🙂

Ugh, and that doesn't include flight/room/board $$ b/c they won't give it at more freaking test sites. All the pain and expense is to make us empathize with the suffering of pts i guess :meanie:

I heard that they only have one testing site, and its on Antartica. A friend of mine said that he had to be airlifted by the military to make it there on his test day. Does anyone know if this is true?

your friend's on crack there are 3 sites around the US. the south pole site is for md/phd folks doing field work.

a friend of mine got his hands on Gilligan's 3 page notes and said it really helped him on the test. there were 3 questions that were nearly word for word from the notes. unfortunately, he drank too much after the test, and puked all over his notes & does not have them anymore.

anyone know where i can get my hands on Gilligan's 3 pager?
