Anybody getting carpal tunnel sydrome and a sexy hunch back from working on AMCAS? I can feel my sanity slipping farther and farther from reach with every class I enter in that freaking coursework section. My hubby bought me a book today, "Doctors: Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes". It's a welcomed break and it's nice to crack a smile every once in a while.

NOW GET BACK TO WORK!

Today I was obsessive-compulsively checking the MCAT Thx website to see if April 2006 scores had been posted yet, and for a moment I read "
April 2005 scores are now availabe" and I thought that it said 2006....my heart almost came out of my chest, and then I realized it said 2005.
My little brother was sitting next to me and he's still rolling on the floor laughing because I almost jumped on him.
Anyway, I haven't finished my applications OR my essays, because that surge of creativity and workaholic-ness has not hit yet. I think it's better to wait until it feels right to send them, rather than do it in a rush...
I still feel the pressure to finish them and submit them at 12:01am June 5th. constantly though.

Is it really that bad to turn them in mid or late june????????????????

I was just messin with the OP. No, it's not bad, your'e still early. I submitted my AMCAS July 8th or so of last year. Don't feel like you have to submit June 5th if you're not ready.

I'll second that. Many consider mid-July to be early. Just don't what I did the first time I applied (i.e. wait until November 2004, which is why I am applying for a second time this Summer)

haha not to be a prick or anything but how long does the amcas take? it only too me about 4-5 hours to fill in courses/ecs. and i did it in 15 minutes interval over a long time so it doenst seem like a long time. excuse my self absorption but am i doing something wrong here?

Oh didn't you do that one section that times your typing skills over a period of 3 days. You don't even get breaks. Too bad. Now you don't get to go to med school.
