Hi everyone,

Can anyone who has actually used the Kaplan series of books tell me if they felt that it was a comprehensive way of preparing for Step I? I used their series for the MCAT and thought it was good, but am not sure about it's utility for USMLE.

Pros and cons or just any info would be appreciated tremendously.

Thank you!!!

I used the home study books and thought they were great. I did ok on step I -- 246/99.

I'm not so sure about the lectures. I can't stand lectures, so I knew they weren't for me. I've heard the texts/notes for the lectures are rather useless. That's just from what I've heard though.
