Steps after being admitted to pharmacy school

I was recently accepted into pharmacy school in new york. I currently work at CVS as a technician. I was wondering how do I go about becoming an intern? Does this automatically happen once I enter pharmacy school? Or do I have to take an exam?

Any information is greatly appreciated

In our state, Florida, you become one automatically. You might have to fill something out electronically but they'll send it to you. You really don't have to do much.

Depends on your state. If your state licenses interns you'll have to get an intern license first. If your state doesn't license interns and defines an intern as anyone enrolled in pharmacy school then all you'll need to do is likely talk to your employer and show your status as a student with the school.
