Dr. Henderson,
I have been a Respiratory Therapist since 1996, I have extensive experince in all aspects of Health care. I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and even spent two semesters as a clinical instructor at the community college where I recieved my degree. I only have 2 semesters of physics left to satisfy my pre-reqs. I hear alot about people volunteering and doing research.
My question is...With my clinical experience do you think I need to volunteer or do research?
Thanx...

Research is usually not absolutely essential. But volunteering tells admissions committees not only about your experience, but about your character! (You can volunteer in a non-medical situation too!)
Thanks!
