Can the moderator add a sticky post that reads, "before you post your DAT scores ask yourself 'are my scores 20+?' and if the answer yes to that question - YES, YOU HAVE A SHOT AT GETTING IN TO DENTAL SCHOOL!!!!!', or something like that?

I think it would help if GPA info would be posted as well. For example, if someone with a 2.1 GPA got 20's across the board on the DAT, would that be enough? I think there needs to be some sort of tie between GPA and DAT scores. I think that would be helpful. I realize that extracurricular, shadowing and a host of other things help as well, but It'd be nice to have a correlation between GPA and DAT

i dunno i got a 29 AA and 3.99 GPA

I hear lately these borderline scores aren't gonna cut it... 😀

But honestly i don't think its the fact that people don't know they just want to announce their scores 🙂

Yea, I agree, people with high scores just want to brag about their scores, But they have every right to.

They worked hard and got good results.
Who cares if they want to pat themselves on the back?

There, there Taco....I am sure a school, somewhere, will find it in their hearts to hand you an acceptance letter....

I suppose there are some individuals that are so myopic in getting 'the score/grade' that they loose any sense of perspective and fail to realize that they are in no trouble at all. I am sure that a few such individuals have posted here - only to be eaten alive - so rather than a sticky post perhaps there should be a "Beware of Members" sign.
