I applied to a total of 10 osteopathic schools and have not heard back from any of them. I completed all of my secondary applications around end of November/beginning of December, but still have not heard anything back. My stats are 3.5 gpa, 3.4 science gpa, 25 MCAT and extensive ECs (4 years research, 200 hours shadowing, numerous leadership positions on campus). I have contacted all the schools that I have applied to and they responded by telling me my application is still in review. Its been quite a while since I sent in all my applications and I'm kind of getting worried about not getting any interviews. Do osteopathic schools send out interviews late February/March? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated

You applied way too late, especially with your average GPA and low MCAT. Which schools did you apply to?

You should review your essays, update any LOR and prepare to submit primary on June 1st. At this point, you are likely interviewing for a spot on waitlist, and that is if you got an interview. Also, make sure you apply to 15+ schools next cycle to maximize your chances.

ATSU-Kirksville, AZCOM, CCOM-MWU, KCU, NOVA, NYIT, PCOM, RVU, Touro-Cali, and Western-Pomona. I know I was a little late in the cycle but I feel like my LORs, PS, and ECs help me out quite a bit even though my other stats are average. Are most seats at these schools filled up? I'm just surprised I have not heard anything back from any of the schools. Western contacted me about a month ago saying my application had not been chosen for an interview at this time but that I had not been rejected at that time, which I thought was odd.

Your list is too top heavy. AZCOM, CCOM, Touro, and Western all prefer high MCAT (30+). And all other schools have higher averages than yours. Your chances at any of these schools are not so good even if you apply early. You will have to re-apply to more new schools, in addition to these 10 schools.
