There is still a good chance, if you are a competitive aplicant. Don't forget that schools interview up until March, and it's only January. Though there are some schools, like UOP that have small clesses that tend to fill up quick. But NYU has the largest class, and some of the poeple that got in without interview have deadline for deposit, and some will not pay.

Don't worry, try to stay involved, if you have more grades out, send it to the schools with a letter explaining your accomplishments or if you have new research/volunteer/shadowing.

Regarding a letter explaining additional progress - either academically/volunteer work/shadowing experiences or all of the above - would an email to the assistant dean of admissions be inappropriate? Of course, a progress letter mailed to the asst dean would not be inappropropriate by any means. However, in this email age, would an email maybe be too informal. Any opinions on this?

Just so you know UOP has one of the larger class sizes which is around 140.
NYU definately has a larger size like u said.

I've received 2 interview invitations in the past 3 days. Personally, I never expected this to come. keep checking your email, you never know if the miracle may yet to come.

Thanks. knowing UOP is one of the schools with a larger class size does make me feel a bit better. Maybe there's still hope yet??
