I did an interview at IU on Feb 18th and I called today to see if my application was finished and it isnt. They say I cannot go before the admissions committee until my interviewers submit a score for me. Which has yet to happen. So what do I do now? Wait?

I work at the school of medicine. Should I email them? Any tips?

Sounds like a case of sluggish interviewer feedback.

All you can really do is wait, since your application is now at the mercy of your interviewer. Moreover, it is more common than you might think for interviewers to take several weeks in submitting their feedback after the interview. Wait until at least the middle of April before contacting the admissions office with regards to your application status.

My boss is a faculty member with my interviewer. He told me to shoot her an email, and I did so.

She called back within 15 minutes and talked to me in the lab I work in. She had already called the school to make sure it was submitted (she had been out of town following the interviewer and forgot it, or so was her story).

She apologized repeatedly.. of course I said it was not a problem and tried to top her apology.

She then said, "well I wanted to get this sorted and tell them how much we liked you (I had two interviewers)". Should I take that as a big positive?

I'd say that's a definitely a positive. 😀 If she didn't like you, I doubt she'd say that she did or go through so much effort to call and apologize.
