Still Struggling

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was too then made my final decision based on tuition and cost of living. I work in an outpatient clinic and took the advice of the PTs. They all agreed that as long as u pass your boards, no job cares where u went to school. So instead of going to Midwestern in IL for 90K.... I chose Hampton in VA that's only 50K.

Hope this helps 🙂

Is anyone else still struggling in deciding between which school they want to attend this year?? I know I am!!

Like you, I'm also still struggling, DPTHopeful921. For me it's between Northern Arizona and Cal State Northridge, both good programs that are the least expensive in each respective state.

Since I'm from Cali, most days I'm thinking CSUN, but I'm having the hardest time letting go of NAU. It's much cheaper, and I had so much fun on my interview day. Will need to decide by Tues. next week...

Looks like you, however, have 6 excellent choices - Congrats on that! Have you narrowed it down any?

OPTION- are you close enough to commute to CSUN? Good luck w/ your decision.

Yeah- I've narrowed it down to Texas State and Arcadia

If you are a Texas resident, I would take advantage of the in-state tuition.

I have a friend that is in his first year at Texas State and he's liking the program a lot. You are welcome to PM me if you are needing to ask him any questions about the program.

I would say I'm close enough to commute - it's 19 miles away against traffic. I own my place and really like where I live, which is a plus for CSUN.

Do you know where you're going, Litlwarrior08? I didn't anticipate it being so hard to decide, but the thought of paying less money is very enticing...

Accepted at Touro NV......waitlisted at NAU deep into the list - Hoping to get an update after 3/21 committments are turned in. I need 24-25 people to deline a spot ahead of me.. HAHAH. May is a long time to wait when Touro starts in July. Love to stay in state, but would be very happy at Touro. Thinking of buying a townhouse in Henderson, but need to start doing something real soon, or I'll be out on the street, or in the parent's camper.
Have you considered the COL and moving to a new location? Bet AZ is cheaper than CA. Flag didn't get hit as badly as the rest of AZ w/ the housing market so cost are higher there to rent / own than it is in PHX.
Did NAU assign you a seat at a specific campus-do you like one over the other?

I think Prof. Cornwall said that after the 48 admitted candidates make their decisions, they'll ask those who said "yes" where they would prefer to go. After PHX gets approved, they'll populate the remaining spots in both cohorts with the alternates.

If I go with NAU, it's Flag all the way. I love snowboarding too much to choose otherwise. Also think I would melt in desert AZ, not a fan of triple-digit heat. What would be your preference, Litlwarrior08?

I'd take either, but could live at home if I get PHX. I like the heat.
