Does anyone know why it's 1/n instead of n? I don't really understand the explanation provided as the answer. Thanks

Just a heads up, read the sticky threads before posting aamc material. I'll go ahead and note this so a mod can move it somewhere where it won't spoil it for people that havent seen the material yet

So in the case of this problem you can just think of it as a basic equillibrium equation, where for every n moles of CDP, you produce n moles of HPO4 and 1/n moles of (CP)n. For me it was easier to think about it by plugging in a number for n.

For example if n = 3. For every 3 moles of CDP, you produce 3 moles of HPO4. Compared that to CPn which has a 1:3 mole ratio with CDP, you only produce 1/3 moles of CDP. Therefore giving you the 1/n
