I know Stony Brook has low tuition for NY residents and is competitive because they only accept like 40 students, but are there any other reasons this is a good school/very competitive?
Does it have a good reputation, does it have good research, does it have good clinical exposure? Are there any other benefits that will make me a better dentist?

It's also a great school if you plan on specializing. Its a well known research institute so you have plenty of research options (I did not do research but I am sure you can find some).

Difficult for OOS students. Its my first choice but I'm OOS. Fml
