Program-Specific Info / Q's Stony Brook Main Campus vs. Southampton?

Hi! I'm in the early stages of looking at graduate programs and was wondering if anyone had more information about the two Stony Brook campuses. Is one typically more sought after than the other? Is the Southampton campus super isolated? What are the pros/cons of both? I definitely want to be in a situation where I can meet lots of people but being in the Hamptons sounds pretty cool. I would love to know more about Stony Brook social life between the two!! Thanks guys!!
