Know someone who is finishing up med school in Bangladash and radonc is now the "apple of his eye." Long Island has 2 programs (3 if you count ny presby queens) and thought it would be a perfect mach. Sure, many of us would bury such a program on our resume in small print right below "Costco gold club" member. Anyway, anyone know which is the better program? More than willing to come despite what our president feels about certain "s hole countries"

Actually, for attending jobs, both places are competitive. Earlier in the decade, I've tried to get into a position there (no luck).

LIJ better than Stonybrook

stony newer program then even LIJ. Avoid

LIJ despite being a newer program is decent from what I can tell.

Lot of other trash New York programs including Cornell, Columbia, stony brook, NY Methodist, Downstate

nyc is a very desirable place. But in tight job market don’t want to be In a pos program. Does Long Island need more programs than most major 3 sport team cities. (It is not even part of nyc)

Some of the worst programs in the nation yeah. If you match at a bad program good luck to you. I don’t think people understand how bad they are

the same programs keep coming up over and over.
