I interviewed at SB early October and still no word. Almost 2 1/2 months! Needless to say I'm a little concerned.

Anyways, winter break is approaching. Do you think I should call them and let them know that I will be at my home address until school starts up again? Or should I trust the campus to forward my mail (they have made mistakes in the past). Just wondering how you all are planning to handle this situation. It would be unfortunate to miss the one week deadline to submit a deposit.

i dunno what's up with stony brook, but no one has heard from them in a while...they're not sending out anything these days except interivew invites so no news could be good news

i'm over the 3.5 month mark personally. i think the prob is that the adcomm. meets really infrequently, so if you aren't brought up/decided upon at one meeting, you're waiting like a month before you even have a chance to be brought up again.
