well I heard that Stonybrook makes phone calls
till the day after the 1st of Dec...
so not getting phone call today doesn't necessarily mean rejection..
also I remember that getting an email from them will be a bad sign
because you are either rejected or waitlisted..

I remember reading a post someone saying that she/he got a phone call
11pm last year...
so let's not give up our hope!!

God I hope not! No phone call yet here. However, nobody has reported acceptance either here or on predents (unless I just haven't seen it) so we're not alone. Still have my fingers crossed for a Stony Brook acceptance, but still very happy about my NJDS acceptance 🙂

ya no call from stony brook :-( but got into UMDNJ!!
 
My friend just called me and said he just got a call from stony brook so dont give up hope I guess they do call late. Kinda weird...what were they doing all day?
 
Noooo Orgodox whyyy did you tell us that ... now if nobody on SDN gets a call we'll all be freaking out thinking we've been rejected ... you know what kind of crazy, jumps-to-conclusion kind of group we are here 😛

My freaking out at a lack of a phone call has officially begun, despite the fact that I realize they called people as late as 11 pm last year ... one can't help but to freak out. I guess I've got that Pre-Dental Bipolar Disorder..

Lol your already in UMDNJ so relax it was good day for you lol. Im waiting for stony brook too! But now I have to wait a few more weeks for Maryland.. I was REALLY hoping to hear today.

You are right, today was a great day for me and I am incredibly thankful (and relieved!) to have been accepted at my state school. Still, I would rather go to Stony Brook over NJDS so I am praying for one of those coveted, rare out of state acceptances. It's my current top choice and even after the next few interviews I have I think it will remain my top choice .. as long as I don't get a rejection, obviously, lol. GL with Stony Brook and Maryland 🙂

really freaks me out!!!

i know this person too. but is this the only one so far? what does that mean? and do they call in alphabetical order? I haven't heard from others yet

Anybody else find it a little strange that they've been calling for over a half hour and nobody on SDN has been accepted? Weeeeeiiird. I wonder who will be the first? GL to all who are freaking out alongside me 🙂

I realize that SDN doesn't represent the entire application pool, but still .. lol
 
sigh 🙁


and this monday night football game is boring so its not even taking my mind off watching the clock 😡

lol stonybrook sure is weird...calling people at 10 pm...what the hell are they thinking?

Good luck everyone. I believe they had OMFS interviews today so that is probably why they are calling later than usual.

I have a fever...

I am feeling tired and cold.....so I took nyquil and stuff....and it makes me more tired....
ANd I am still waiting for a phone call.....-___-;;;

should I just go to sleep?? It seems like it's hopeless now... It's already now 10 : 18 pm Eastern Time...
 
Whlee, are you in state or out of state? Seems like so far everybody called is an in-stater, unless I missed something. Hope for us out-of-staters still.

i think they're going to be making calls late..also don't give up hope! i was waiting alllll day to hear back from the schools that i'd interviewed at and this was my first one (at 9:58pm)..

i'm not sure yet..it's hard to say no just cause this is my first acceptance. i hope that in the end i'll have a couple to choose from just so that i can compare, but stony is def up there on my list. maybe we'll be classmates next year, who knows lol!
 
well, now I can cancel my 3 interviews coming up next week! more spots for you people out there!

well...my last name starts with an L (you probably already figured that out through my sdn login name)...and i'm guessing whlee's last name also starts with an L...i don't think it's a coincidence we were called at around the same time, but i also don't want to mislead people with a stupid guess..
