I applied and my application is still under review. Anybody heard from them?
I haven't heard a peep from them other than the "we have your application and will let you know if we need anything else from you" e-mail.
Yeah, Stony Brook is an excellent school and dirt cheap, they're flush with qualified applicants and with <40 seats, won't be surprised if I don't get an interview.
I should have sent flowers on June 1st instead of playing it cool. I'm sorry Stony Brook give me a chance at lov...er dental school. I promise I'll never play these silly games again!
I didn't hear a thing from them either. I was also late and looking at predents this seems to be a big problem. I'm going to call them at the end of the week to see what the deal is, but I'm not expecting anything. 🙁
let me know how it goes man. GL
No doubt, UMDNJ is a great school. I really liked the people I met during my interview visit and the residents from the school I met during shadowing. I'd be happy to attend the school.
It's just that Stony Brook is also excellent and cheaper overall for me.
Also, the we don't need you attitude is making me even more interested. Apparently the trick doesn't work for me but works against me 🙂.
Yes I was accepted, and I am between a few schools, I really dont know where to go. Everyone was so nice, and you get your own chair which is great. Is it worth it go to to an ivy league name over it? I dont know. I feel very fortunate to have this choice, but it is a very tough one. Clinically I don think I saw a better school.
