Does anybody know what kind of lab top is needed for stony brook, is it suggested to buy one in advance. how much does it cost around??

A lap top is not necessary at Stony Brook. You may want to buy it if you want to check your mail at home via internet. But is a waste of money in my opinion.

do you suggest having any computer at home at all? Are there computers that dental students can use on campus?? Will there be a need for a computer to access notes or anything? Thanks!
