Does anybody know anything about this combined BA/MD program. Since I am a New York resident, tuition would be cheaper if I got in compared to some other programs.

Can somebody tell me how competitive this program is and what the minimum stat requirements are?

Is anybody currently a part of this program?

Thanks guys!

Probably 3.7 gpa at least, 2200 sat, volunteer hours, excellent extracurriculars, and doctor shadowing hours. They are very hard programs to get into.

Just like my state school, Stony Brook requires that you have the criteria to be accepted into their Honor's College. Minimum 1300 sat, 93 or higher school average, and 29 ACT. Don't forget extra curriculars. You can do that! http://www.stonybrook.edu/uaa/honorscollege/apply.shtml

If you get a full scholarship out of state, then you won't have to worry about tuition, and you could take a look at these other BS/MD programs across the U.S.

thanks. That was extremely helpful 🙂 Do you know if either the SAT or ACT is preferred at Stony?

No prob😎
There is no preference of either the SAT or ACT. I think it would be wise to take both, and whichever you do better on, send that test score to them. I'm an SAT person myself though lol I don't know why.
