Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say not to lose hope! I was going through all of these posts and they are seriously depressing. I understand that the process of applying and getting into med school is frustrating and a pain, I'm going through it myself right now; however, just because you are not that "perfect" candidate does not mean you have no chance of getting in. I know people that you wouldn't think would even have gotten past the door get into a pretty decent school. Not to say that you shouldn't be realistic; I mean if you know that you grades/scores are low be realistic about your chances of getting into certain schools. Please just take a chance on yourself and if you don't get in the first time around at least you know you tried! Have a good one!
