Storing collected teeth

Is it ok to store collected teeth in plastic jars with diluted bleach as holding solution?? Or is it necessary to use glass jars?? Or does it matter?

plastic or glass jars. it makes no difference. You can also store the teeth in 10% formalin

I was told to put some glycerin in the jar as well (along with the diluted bleach). You can buy it at any pharmacy or drug store. I was told that it keeps the teeth from becoming too brittle, which would not be ideal if you're practicing preps, etc. I don't know if it made any difference to be honest.

You shouldn't use bleach as bleach can make your teeth brittle and damage it. Use formalin. I bought a bunch of jars from Marshall for 3 dollars each.
