Forums have been real quiet lately so here's another stupid Adam Smasher thread to get your weekend started.

I'm told by my legions of geriatric patients that I'm very talented at trimming their calluses. So because there's not much else going on in my life, I decided to try shaving with a straight edge razor instead of an electric as I have done for years. After all, hair is just keratin. And cutting down keratin is what podiatrists do best.

I gotta say, my face has never been smoother. It's more of a time commitment, say 15 min to get everything shaved, edged, and cleaned after. It's really handy for getting the hair on the upper lip right under the nose, which my electric razor always misses. This will of course be less of an issue when I eventually adopt the mustache, as is the destiny awaiting all of us.

Anyway I hope everyone has a good weekend!

This is the most TFP thing I’ve heard in awhile.

Once you use a safety razor for the first time, you'll quickly realize how absurd spending $30 for 8 refills of 5-razor cartridges is and you won't end up with ingrown hairs afterward. $16 for 50 Feather double edge razors will last you for a year.
