Does anyone know how we're supposed to visualize what the cubes actually look like in weird problems like the ones posted below?? I'm pretty good with PAT but always thrown off when I see stuff like this. Also has anyone who's already taken the DAT actually seen any weird cube formations on their test?! I feel like I'm entering the hyperspace every time I get a problem like this on cube counting...

1st stack: #1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 10, 11
2nd stack: # 4, 6, 9, 13
3rd stack: # 5

Hint:Cube #8 has three sides painted. One of its sides is blocked from the view by Cube #13.
Hint: Hidden cube (one side painted) right below Cube #6.

There is also a cube below Cube #4, but that one has 0 side painted since it's blocked completely.

Also for figure C, there is a hidden cube right below Cube # 4. That hidden cube has TWO sides painted.

Another hidden cube, with two sides painted, below Cube #2.
I hope the numbering helped
