Strange DAT question

I have a different type of DAT question. Here is my situation. I have taken the DAT a total of 5 times. Now, to defend myself, this has been over several years. I was very dumb in the fact I tried to balance two jobs, school, and studying for the DAT. I have an 18AA, but I want to take it again. I am now able to only work one job, and actually focus on the DAT. My question is, even if I "nail" the DAT, how will the admissions look at this? I know I have taken it mor ethen usual, but it has been spread out over a long period of time. Does that even matter? I have a good gpa, and a Master's degree in biology )gpa 3.4), and dental experience. I am very curious what to do. I know I need to take ti again, and I can finally focus on it, but is it too late for me?

i wanna say 18 is very good.
No need to retake.
even if u take ur dat 10 times, the ones u took more than 2 years ago don't count.

Does it look bad that i took it so many times. Is it possible to overcome the afct I have taken it five times? Is this a hopless cause? I dont want to give up!!

If I were you, I would lay out 4 hours of day for about 3 months and just nail the exam. Get 20s across the board and you should be fine. The DAT is not hard and I think with hard work, anyone can do well.

Yes. They will ask you about it though. However, dont take the DAT unless you are confident you will do well. I waited 2 years before I felt I was ready emotionally and academically to put in the hours to study for this exam.
