I volunteer a few times a week at a rabbit shelter that this lady runs out of her house. There's this beautiful stray Egyptian Mau that hangs out in her garden all the time. This poor cat clearly has no home and is completely emaciated. I think she should literally be twice the size she is now. The woman at the shelter feeds her occasionally but can't take her in because her tabby attacks the stray whenever she is let inside the house. There is nothing more I'd rather do than adopt this poor cat, but my father is allergic and I can't have a cat at school (I'm living on campus for at least another year). Is there anything I can do? Should I give the lady some cat food to feed the cat, to encourage her to feed it more often? I know I probably can't do anything but it just breaks my heart to see this sweet cat suffering.
