Hey everyone,

Currently pre-med here. I have a 3.94 GPA and I'm a sophomore in College. I work earnestly hard for my grades. I want to take Organic Chemistry I/II over the summer due to financial reasons, but I feel as though my anxiety may hinder my performance. I aim for 100's, and even when I study I feel anxious which is a distraction---like I can't keep up or meet my goal (my goal is to ace everything so I don't have to worry about the final).

I'm asking medical students if they feel the same because in medical school the saying is sucking from a firehose. How do you cope with this feeling? Do you feel nervous/anxious even when studying? Is this a normal feeling or not?

Thanks. I hope some of you can help.

I always feel anxious while studying and it has shown on my exam performance. But you will literally drive yourself crazy with that mindset in med school.
