Stressed out about matching into neurology.

Hi everyone an IMG here. I am applying to neurology this season.
Step 1: 247
Step2: 253
CS: pass
All first attempt
Graduation: Oct 2018
Don't need visa sponsorship
Have been doing clinical neurology research at a top 40 US medical school for a year now. Have 1 non-neuro publication, 2 neuro oral presentation contributions, have 6 manuscripts either submitted or in preparation (including a first author), but the chances are that only 1 of them will be published by the time of application submission date. Is that gonna hurt my chances of matching somewhere?

youll match comfortably with those scores, am not sure if you are also aiming for a big uni too though.

Well, the higher rank the better.

Just apply broadly and you should be fine. Some programs are biased towards IMGs so you should ignore those ... if you have the money, apply, you just never know.
