I have gone through DAT destroyer for BIO, chem, and ochem then decided to take a topscore test. I scored a 16 on each section but I've been studying hard for 3 weeks. I've typed up a study guide for cliffs and made a lot of flashcards. My test isnt until Aug 12 so should I be alright as long as I put in 8-10 hours a day until then?

Your fineeeeeeee.

First of all you have a lot of time. Plus that's what I scored a week before my exam. Ended up with much higher scores.

I would save practice exams for when your closer to the exam.

just to let you know, destroyer is somewhat useless in its portrayal of ochem and gchem problems. Its good for math and maybe bio but everything else sucks. Don't be stressed the real thing is much easier than any of the practice tests these other companies use. In my opinion you should go to the ADA website download the practice test they have there. Not only will it probably boost your moral but that test is the most accurate description of what you you will on test day. If your still doing bad on this, then I would suggest to focus on the sections youre struggling with and maybe focusing on the question more than you are. The DAT is composed heavily with "trick" questions rather than hard ones that are meant to screw people that semi grasp the material. Make sure you always read the question and have answered it fully.

dude, hearing this. Im in the EXACT same boat. I am not doing well at all on the practice stuff and I take it the 11th. Im about to take my first topscore test and I am scare ****less.....ill post back up in like 4 hrs with my dreaded results.
Quackwhacker (chill name btwubs)we can do this!!!!

Yeah I scored the same on ochem and gen chem portions but had a 19 in bio.

I went over the test and found at least three questions where I should have known the answer but didn't read it carefully. This probably would have put me up in the 17~18 range.

My advice is to look over the questions and see why you got them wrong. I bet you probably didnt read it too carefully.

Also, when I took the organic portion I didn't keep up with my studying of reactions b/c I didnt touch ochem for a week and a half. So for me I now know that I need to at least go through the reactions every other day.

Just relax, you have time to fix your mistakes. One more thing, have you made a study guide for bio? If not, you should, I also found that for me I need to at least memorize some of the main concepts and not rely on just reading through cliffs AP.
