Hello everyone,

I've been a long-time reader of these forums, but this is the first time I have ever posted. 🙂 I am currently stressing out about my Achiever PAT scores; I have taken two tests thus far and have scored 18 and 19 on the PAT. Can someone give me insight as to how this score will relate to the one on test day? Also, can anyone recommend additional resources to help in visualization skills? Thank you so much.

Everything I've read indicates that Achiever is much, much, MUCH harder than real thing. Especially for PAT....

Feel confident...I bet you get at least a 22 on the real thing...its about 5 times easier than achiever.

Thanks for the reassurance, Jaylee777.

I've been trying really hard to get a grasp on the PAT portion, but achiever's apertures are extraordinarily complex. Are the questions on topscore more... humane? 🙂

Okay. I shall pass on some advise and insight that was recently given to me. The aAchiever is harder by far than Topscore or the actual DAT (so I have herad). I am using Achiever and Topsocre currently and find that I consistently average 2-3 points lower on the Acheiver (15-18) than on Topscore (17-20).

Not only am I scoring higher on TOpscore I have been told that I should (for all tense and pruposes) score even better ont he actual DAT (Aug 27?)

Good luck and just breathe

i took the dat last year and got 18 on the pat. i just finished taking dat achiever's 1st pat test and got a 16 😡 i ran out of time so i skipped 30 questions. in the real test i finished the pat section so fast and had at least 20 minutes left. achiever's pat is tough!!

DAT achiever PAT is nothing like the real thing... u sob😡

I agree, Achiever PAT is harder. But on the upside it made the real DAT PAT look easy.🙂

If I may ask, jigabodo, what did you score on your actual PAT?

(Edit: Never mind, I found your predents.com profile.)

Update: Received a 20 on the last perceptual ability test on Achiever. Is this a sign of good things to come?

Wow, that's pretty good for Achiever PAT! I am not trying to give you a false sense of security, but expect anywhere between 21-25 on the real thing given that you dont get overly nervous.

Just make sure you double check and dont make stupid mistakes on the actual PAT, since the difference between 22 and say 25 is pbb just 2 extra questions.

Thanks for your comment, jigabodo.

I'm hoping to give crack the pat a shot once I get my sciences down cold. For now, the PAT will have to wait. 🙂 Thanks everyone for your thoughts.
