Can someone help explain to me what neurologists do at outpatient stroke clinic, beside monitoring for progression/recovery of function?

Secondary prevention, primary prevention, maximizing motor and cognitive recovery, managing connective tissue diseases, managing hypercoaguable states, managing structural heart disease, monitoring progression of large and medium vessel atherosclerosis. For ICH, managing cerebral small vessel disease, managing hydrocephalus, managing CAA.

I know I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff.
