Structures' of amino acids

Can anyone tell me whether I need to memorize the structures of 20 Amino Acids for the MCAT? I was doing some passages on BR Bio and some of the questions are structure's identification.

They tell you not to, but I would personally memorize the side chains.

i searched this question when i started studying, and i remember seeing many suggestions only to learn if they are polar/nonpolar/acidic/basic.
