Struggling in Gen Chem 1

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I have no idea how you can do the math on "failed all 3 exams and am barely passing". That doesn't really seem to make a whole ton of sense. It also seems mathematically challenging to fail 3 out of 4 exams and get a B in a class, never mind the extremely low likelihood that someone who has failed 3 exams will do extremely well on the last exam.

#1 Withdraw if possible. You are clearly unprepared for this class.
#2 Get help in person, as soon as possible. Seek out the academic resources that your school provides. Undergrad is not about learning chemistry. It is about learning how to learn. And you are failing at that, even if you get a B in gen chem.

We have other grades that go in too so that's how I'm barely passing. I can't withdraw either since it is too late in the semester.

This is no time to be swinging for the fences, throwing a Hail Mary, or engaging in magic thinking.

Just drop the course and fix the deficits that got you into this mess.

I've failed all 3 exams so far and am barely passing. The final is next week. I just bought this book called "chemistry for the utterly confused" because it looked like it might help. Do you think there is any way I could pass the final with a B or a C or am I screwed?
