Stryker Kyphos

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It is a very nice system. I think their filling guns and cement are excellent. The 11g cannula don’t easily accommodate the balloon sometimes. The tolerances are just too tight.

Stryker is known for strong balloons and viscous cement. I like their curved system too

Okay, will most likely have to do cadaver training then to learn about it
If you have done any kypho, the Stryker kits are easier to use than other companies. Especially if use the battery powered mixer.
Reps happy to come out and support you.

That's interesting, I have also occasionally had difficulties getting the Stryker deflated balloon back into cannula, especially if I am placing it for a second or third time. Overall though I find the Stryker cement consistency to be much more reliable than Medtronic

Stryker kits are also at least 50-100% more expensive than other vendors…
