I called aadsas and finally got a real person! I was checking if my app was sent out and they wont be sending it out until oct 29! that means that dental schools wont get my app until the start of november...and by the time i get anything it will be mid-late november....do i even have a chance? I hear that many schools send out acceptances by dec. 1st. anyone have any experience with this? What sucks is that i cant even fill out secondaries or anything cause they dont even have my basic stats!
on the bright side i did get an interview from marquette ( i sent an in house app) 👍

You are in a bit of a rut, especially when you factor in the holidays. But you still have a very real chance--lots of people get interviews and acceptances after the December 1 date. Although, admitedly, the competition for dental school is becoming much more fierce than it ever has been. The moral of the story is: apply early, it really does boost your chances.

You'll have to wait to get secondaries, and you are correct in thinking that you'll get them in mid-November or early December (factor in the week adcoms take off for Thanksgiving).

Then, turn those in and you'll get interview invites in mid-December to early January. Most likely the actual interview dates will be February-March, since by this point most of the interview slots are booked fairly far out.

hey, it also depends how ur stats are... let us know how u did on DAT and what ur gpa is, and what schools u applied too
