Incoming dental student here. I was wondering if it is normal for dental students to attain disability insurance throughout one's time in school?

It's free through ASDA. They also give you a small life insurance policy for free while you are a student.

Are we automatically members of ASDA as students or do we enroll while in school?

At my school we were automatically enrolled and we got an email about signing up for the insurance. I'm sure most of my classmates never did it, but it is free, so why not!
