I am definetly going to do a semester or 2 exchange at university of hawaii, or University of South Florida. I have heard from reading posts that switching schools is kinda looked down apon adcoms. Does anyone have any commments about this? I definetly would love to go somewhere tropical for a little while, I am so sick of the cold weather.

i really dont think it matters all that much. some people take some of their sciences classes at a community college while attending a university.

you in principle would prolly be doing the same thing...just taking classes at a different institution. if you do bad...then its gonna look bad, if you do well, then its really not gonna matter.

sure there might be some that tell you that classes at hawaii might not be the same caliber of classes you are taking right now at your school (pending on what school you go to) but for the most part...i think you can pretty much ignore that since its not a permanent move to that school.
