Student Hosting - Specifically EVMS

Hey all -- I requested to be with a student host for my interview on Friday, (so thursday night i need a host). I haven't heard anything yet and I am leaving tomorrow afternoon! Is there a possibility I will hear tomorrow morning, the day of my arrival? Just wondering if i should reserve a hotel room... This is for EVMS in Norfolk.

book at the clarion at evms rate, you can remove your reservation up to 4 pm (i think they said 4) of the same day...not too expensive, about 70 or 80 dollars

i'll be at the clarion....but in one more week.....anyone else?

Hi! I just made a reservation at the Radisson for the end of the month - the EVMS rates are much better than priceline.com (recommended by another SDNer). (And they also said they have a shuttle for free from the airport - check if the Clarion has the same deal??)

I thought about staying with a host for a night, however, since I'm coming from overseas, I don't know if I'll be able to carry a sleeping back in addition to other clothes.

Please let us know how the "panel interview" goes - I read it's 3 people - do they all 3 sit there and interrogate you??? eek!
