Does anyone have any advice on which banks provide the lowest interest rate, longest grace periods before loan repayment? I am a canadian looking to go to school in the US

I did look at National Bank....but I think BMO, TD, CIBC are pretty good
unfortunately RBC does not

but then again I'm from QC so there are always restrictions on us for some reason, like why we cannot turn right on red beats me....in Montreal....but then again we jaywalk too much....and drivers are pedestrian-striking friendly....

BMO has the best along with TD

I am a little confused as to the consolidation part.....anyone care to elaborate on that? Someone (eyestrain I think) said their loan is locked at a rate, how do you get this?

I thought they changed that a few years ago so you can turn right on red?

Yes, that's right they did. It's now allowed everywhere in Quebec except for on the island of Montreal...

I am from Laval soooo its annoying- we can turn right on red....when its after 10PM...they have signs!! Its just annoying...but we love watching americans and toronto ppz do it in montreal and ppl are yelling at them- its hilarious.... perhaps the americans come up to montreal to see how many they can run over bc they arent supposed to turn right on red...well I think I;ve almost been hit at least 20 times by them..... but then again McGill students probably have the most brains, but none for crossing the streets...seriously...
