"This is a group for premedical students with mental illnesses to join together to discuss medical school admissions, getting through science classes, dealing with side effects from psychiatric medications, study tips for the MCAT, personal statements, where to find personal mentors, clinical experience, recommendations, how to deal with medical school interviews, etc. It will be a place for us to discuss our fears about how having a mental illness with affect our experiences in medical school, residency, and beyond. Most importantly, it will be a place for us to find a little bit of the support we need to get through what often feels like a very lonely experience."
