So I had been using the McGraw-Hill book to study for the MCAT, including the practice tests. I felt pretty good, but I worry that I might have made a mistake in just trusting the book without shopping around elsewhere. The McGraw-Hill book has timed tests, but they don't give you an actual score on the 45-scale and some folks say the questions aren't really similar to the real deal. I only found out about the shortcomings recently (in the past few days). If I could go back, I would have bought more of the AAMCAS practice tests a while back and used those to help study, but hindsight is 20/20!
My goal is to earn a 30+ on the exam, which I'm scheduled to take on Thursday (7/26/12).
Scored a 31 on the AAMCAS exam 3 (the free one) that I took this morning. That's the one and only practice test I've taken other than the ones from my book. I got a 1520 on the GRE a couple years back, for what that's worth.
Do I have a good shot at getting 30+ on my exam this Thursday?
(Applying to DO school)
Thanks
