hi all,
i studied abroad last year at a foreign institution and had 1.5 credits (the equivalent of 3 half courses) transferred. my college told me to leave our college credit hours blank because they don't appear on the transcript and that amcas would fill them out automatically as 4 credit hours for us (0.5 credits = 1 class = 4 credit hours).
on my official transcript, it just says the name of the foreign institution and "1.5 credits transferred" next to it. on my amcas, i listed the classes i took, and just put 1.5 in the credit hour section for one class and 0 in all the others though credit hours aren't the same as credits. should i just put 12 credit hours instead? which would be less confusing?
this has been confusing me to no end, so any help would be appreciated!
thanks!
