study abroad during dental school

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
does anyone know of any dental schools that push students to travel for part of their dental education?

I am pretty sure Harvard has a program and was curious if any others are prominent.

I missed out on studying abroad in undergrad cause of the DAT, AADSAS, and my major and really wanna try and fit it in.

PS I really wanna go to Spain and try to learn spanish if anyone has any knowledge on that...

I think it is like 1300$
Round trip to Spain.

Or go to Miami Florida or uptown ny.

Iowa has the option during your fourth year rotations to go to different sites. Some people stay in Iowa City, some go to other areas in Iowa, some travel to other states like Colorado, Michigan, Alaska, or other students go abroad to England, Denmark, India, The Netherlands, or Guatemala. I think they are 5 weeks in length.

Also, Iowa, like most dental schools, has mission trips and such over breaks that you can travel abroad on.
