So I'm going to be going to the university of Michigan this fall, and am planning to major in physics. I'm really interested in this program, which is a study abroad program at CERN over the summer of my junior or senior year. As much as I would like to participate in this amazing opportunity, I was wondering how it would impact my medical school application process. I know that the summer of junior year is pretty important concerning applying to schools, but would it be possible to do both? Thanks for the input.

Also, inb4 study "a broad" jokes.

If you will have access to the internet, you will be fine. The primary application is online and most schools have online secondaries. Additionally, the AMCAS opens up at the beginning of May, so you can start filling it out before you go and submit it in June. 👍

Thanks! That was the only reason why I was considering to not pursue it.

I agree about the internet. You also might want to list your AMCAS address as your parents address. Some schools (like Vanderbilt) send you snail mail as a near exclusive means of communication.
Enjoy the abroad time!
