so i did terrible on our last biochem test.
i talked to the course director, and i expressed my jealousy of my roommate, who can study for several hours at a time and doesn't even have to study that many total hours --
he laughed at me (just as my mom did) and said, she is fresh out of college with a biology major. he gives me until new year to adjust, i hope he's right.

we start a new segment now, cell bio, the speed i think is even faster than biochem, however, just like biochem, i know so so so little of the background.

and the MD/PhDs shout their answers so fast I don't even have time to think
greehh

any suggestions on studying?

Try not to get too hung up on what everyone else is doing, as I think it can be distracting and demotivating. If there are tutors available to you, take advantage of them. Should be a lower-stress environment and you can drill your tutors for help on what you're not grasping.

However, a lot of biochem and bio is just rote memorization. It's like learning a language -- you just have to immerse yourself in it.
